It’s now time to start making your Valentine’s Day plans, and we’ve got just the thing!

We will all be performing with 2 new group acts and solos will be performed by Lady Ginger, Frenchie Kiss, Kami Oh, Vivian Velvet, Lily Bloom, Stella LaRocque, and our newest addition, May Oui! Michelle L’amour will also be doing a WORLD premiere act, and there will be variety acts like beat box sensation, Yuri Lane, and comedy duo, Parker and Seville.  BIG SEXY SHOW also stars Hot Toddy, King of Burlesque 2009.  This show sells out every year.  Because of the demand, we are doing 2 shows, 8:30 and 11pm.  Tickets are $25 or 2 for $40 in advance.  There are VIP tickets for $100 that include preferred seating and a bottle of champagne.  Drinks will be available in the lobby of the Music Box Theatre, an addition we are all very excited about!  Don’t miss this amazing event! The Superstars Are Coming!

Prepare for burlesque royalty! The Superstars of Burlesque are back and heading to Chicago on September 16th!  Performing at the Park West in 2 shows only (8 and 10pm) are Michelle L’amour, Julie Atlas Muz, Kalani Kokonuts, Hot Toddy, The Stage Door Johnnies, Dirty Martini, Tigger!,The Chicago Starlets, Indigo Blue, Trixie Little and the Evil Hate Monkey, Roxi D’Lite!  All hosted by Mr. Showbiz, Murray Hill!  Each performer is a Burlesque Hall of Fame Title Holder.  [Tickets] are available now online, or IN PERSON at Studio L’amour, the Park West box office or Taboo Tabou!

Then on September 17th, we have Superstar Workshops at Studio L’amour! There are 4 spots left for Hot Toddy and Kalani Kokonuts. [Register] now!

6pm-7pm: “Jazz Dancing for Burlesque” with Hot Toddy

Dance class focusing on the 40s/50s style dance, using isolation, jazz technique, and Fosse style dance movements that can be used to bring extra style to your burlesque routines.

Costuming and Presentation
Kalani Kokonuts will work with you as a group as well as one on one.
- Basics of costuming and how to stand out from the crowd.
- How to create powerful and dynamic acts.

- How to create color combinations
- 20 most common mistakes that amateur performers make in costuming as well as props.
- How to get the most bang for your buck while looking like you spent a fortune.
- How to rhinestone to dazzle and create depth.

We’re all heading out to Las Vegas to perform at the Burlesque Hall of Fame!

It’s June 2-5 at the Orleans Hotel.  We’ll be performing on Superstar Sunday, June 5th alongside Michelle L’amour, Dirty Martini, Julie Atlas Muz, Hot Toddy, Kitten DeVille, Trixie Little, The Evil Hate Monkey, Gigi and Pop, Tigger!, and Kalani Kokonuts! What a line up! All hosted by Nadine Dubois and Pierre Jean Pierre St. Pierre.

Come and see what Chicago Magazine rated as the #1 Burlesque Company in Chicago on August 14 and 15 at the Music Box Theatre at midnite.  You will see Michelle L’amour and the Chicago Starlets, the Oona Tramps, Hot Toddy (winner of Best Boylesque 2009) and special guests Nadine Dubois (Minneapolis), Tigger!
