We’ll be heading to Vegas the first weekend of June to perform at the Burlesque Hall of Fame weekend.  We’ll be dancing in the ICONS and ALL STARS show on June 3rd at the Orleans Hotel.  This is going to be the big finale of the weekend that is filled with Legends’ performances and the pageant, where a new Queen, King, Group and Duo will be crowned.  Our own Frenchie Kiss will be competing with her duet with Jett Adore on June 2nd. The new session begins May 7th at Studio L’amour.  The specialty class is Burlesque Costuming with the original member of the Chicago Starlets, Vivian Velvet.  Class size is limited to 12 for costuming, so be sure to register soon.  The props for beg/int and int/adv are small hand fans, waist cinchers, and panties.  [Registration] is available now for all classes!

Wiggle Room is back withChicago’s best stand up comics and sexy burlesque by your favorite Starlets.  Every week features 2 new comics and 3 new dancers and is hosted by Adam Burke.  We begin on March 15th and run every Thurs. at 9pm until April 26th at the Everleigh Social Club. It’s now time to start making your Valentine’s Day plans, and we’ve got just the thing!

We will all be performing with 2 new group acts and solos will be performed by Lady Ginger, Frenchie Kiss, Kami Oh, Vivian Velvet, Lily Bloom, Stella LaRocque, and our newest addition, May Oui! Michelle L’amour will also be doing a WORLD premiere act, and there will be variety acts like beat box sensation, Yuri Lane, and comedy duo, Parker and Seville.  BIG SEXY SHOW also stars Hot Toddy, King of Burlesque 2009.  This show sells out every year.  Because of the demand, we are doing 2 shows, 8:30 and 11pm.  Tickets are $25 or 2 for $40 in advance.  There are VIP tickets for $100 that include preferred seating and a bottle of champagne.  Drinks will be available in the lobby of the Music Box Theatre, an addition we are all very excited about!  Don’t miss this amazing event! Join us on July 30th at Martyrs for an entire show filled with brand new acts!  Featured soloists are Lily Bloom, Dottie LaVie, Sasha Darling, Nora Gretz, Rhonda Vous, Ivy Fabulous, Dominique Trixx, Honey Halfpint, Kami Oh!, Greta Layne, Ginny Fizz, and Lady Ginger! There’s also a new duet by Frenchie Kiss and Jett Adore and a new Starlets group act that is sure to make you hot under the collar! Also, Michelle L’amour gives her Chicago debut of ‘Whole Lotta L’amour’!  And your host, Pierre Jean Pierre St. Pierre is back from Denver, and L’amourchestra provides the bawdy beats.  The last show we had at Martyrs sold out, so get your [tickets] asap!

It’s a Starlet Weekend!

First, we’ve got Frenchie Kiss performing at Hydrate on March 17th for the opening party of the Windy City Burlesque Festival.  There is no cover for you…or the performers!

Then, it’s the Windy City Burlesque Festival March 18th and 19th.

Michelle L’amour, Dominique Trixx and Ivy Fabulous will be performing in the fest.

Speakeasy Sunday happens every Sunday at the Everleigh Social Club, right across the hall from Studio L’amour.  There’s a live band and improvisational burlesque performed by the Chicago Starlets and guests.  It’s only $5 and BYOB.  It’s the perfect way to end the weekend or start your week!

Nadine Dubois is back from Minneapolis to host 4 shows at the Mayne Stage Theater.  Ginger Valentine (Dallas), Bazooka Joe (Chicago), and the comedy duo Parker and Seville (Toront0) will all be our guests this weekend. Valentine’s Extravaganza!

After an exciting weekend in Minneapolis at the Best of Midwest Burlesk Festival, the Starlets are back in Chicago for some great events.

First, it’s Michelle L’amour, Greta Layne, Mimi First, and Dominique Trixx in Naked Girls Reading!

February 4th, we bring you Naked Girls Reading: Love Stinks! We’re celebrating the other side of Valentine’s Day.  Hear about heartbreak and love sick puppies.  We’ll be featuring Harper Perennial’s new book ‘Philosophers Who Failed at Love’ by Andrew Shaffer.  They were smart, but they couldn’t handle a relationship!  [Tickets] are available now!

Then, we’ve got 4 shows Feb. 11 and 12, at the Mayne Stage Theater!
