In 1967, Tiger Beat Magazine asked the following questions to their featured matinee idols.  In 2011, we posed it to Nora Gretz.

How would your mother describe you in one word? Curious

What is your favorite flower? Tulip

What is the most insane question you’ve ever been asked? Are those real?

What word in the English language do you wish you had invented? Algorithm

Where would you like to live? Somewhere warm and sunny…

What is the quote that comes to your mind? “The world is a tragedy to those who feel, but a comedy to those who think.” –Horace Walpole

What animal best describes the kind of man you’re interested in? Fox. He is clever, witty, wary, not a “pack” animal, and he can pounce very quickly (in a good way, of course).

What do you miss about your childhood? Skipping and family sing-a-longs.

If you could change your name, what would you change it to? Nora Gretz. :)

What is the main fault of your character? She has no regrets! ;)

Who is your favorite historical figure? Rosalind Franklin

Describe how you kiss in one word.  Passionately

What in the world do you least desire? Mediocrity

In every episode of “Inside the Actor’s Studio” James Lipton asks the following questions (originated by French interviewer Bernard Pivot) to the guest movie star.  Now we ask Nora Gretz.

What turns you on?  Intellectual sparring

What turns you off? Ignorance

What is your favorite word? Sassafras

What sound or noise do you love? Hearty laughter

What sound or noise do you hate? Anything repetitive

What profession other than yours would you like to attempt? A music director for film or music videos

What profession other than yours would you not want to attempt? Financial Trader or working for a biohazard disposal service

What is your favorite swear word? Frack. The derivative is a little more utilitarian. Plus, it’s also like a secret handshake for fellow sci-fi geeks. 

If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear god say to you as you enter the Pearly Gates?
